Siouxsie Sioux - the ubiquitous cover of Deadbeat for some - November 1982 saw a magnificent drawing by Hilary become a Deadbeat collectors masterpiece. After the interview with Roddy Frame  in issue 5 it had been a busy time at Uni so issues 6 was mostly reviews of gigs, not least Tony Benn's 'Song for Europe'. He was never a fan, but the review of his gig at the Caird Hall in Dundee had many parallels with Roxy Music. A natural Brexiteer even our Tony would have to accept that trade union aims had been helped by being part of Europe.

A superb drawing - and of course Orange Juice didn't reveal all but I did like the Tony Benn Live!
